I’ve been thinking about the acronym LGBT lately. And how at odds it seems to be with itself. The B and the T that is.
-
If we recognize that T can often represent non-binary, then why are we still using the term “bisexual”?
-
“Bi” doesn’t really seem to work there, does it? It’s a big part of why I identify as queer now instead of bi, but not the only.
-
Because further, if “Lesbian” and “Gay” represents who we love, why do we use the term “bisexual”, which connotes who we have sex with?

Fantastic conversation going on in my mentions about this right now. Lots of us who feel left behind by “LGBT” as many know it.
