  1. I’ve had my M2 Mac for months now and still haven’t gotten it to build Ruby. Sure, maybe “Migration Assistant” wasn’t the wisest choice, but foolishly I thought Apple would handle some amount of the arch differences? Or drop its concerns into a text file like when it updates?

      I straight up uninstalled and reinstalled both Xcode and brew (along with any installed rubies/version managers, of course) and still getting ld lib errors presumably when gems are attempting to build in a way that requires openssl

        anyway about 30,000 search tabs later, I’m trying to decide if reinstalling macOS is the way to go. But omg i’d be so mad if it didn’t solve the problem.
