        So I’ve been making websites since the 90s and when we talk about the browser wars, I feel like sometimes we undercommunicate how bad it really was for the web. Cynical anticompetitive capitalist shenanigans held back the web for a decade or more. @seldo/1426973499768246272

      THIS IS SO IMPORTANT. As we expand and improve JavaScript, TC39‘s ultimate guiding principal is “Don’t Break The Web”. That means we are stuck with keeping all those shitty features IE introduced without consultation so old websites still work. @emilyst/1426979811528830978
