I have a headless Ubuntu 20 server that somehow has idk *all* of the desktops installed (despite never havingOn twitter.com
ubuntu-desktopinstalled via apt or tasksel) and out of nowhere is booting into a graphical user select screen and falling asleep shortly after. How do I make it… not?❤️ 3 Favorites Mood -1 🙁

Updated question: Installing update-motd & update-notifier (because they weren’t working) brought a bunch of gnome desktop packages. After the next reboot, server started falling asleep and booting into desktop gui. If I uninstall, will return to server behavior *just work*?Permalink On twitter.com
